this is my work in room 8 it is breaking news about a fountain in Wellington

walt sail on the water

on wednesday 6th on april 2017 half of room 7 and room 8 went to sailing,and there were 12 kids so Miss Fepuleai had 4 kids and Mrs Kelly had 4 kids and Miss Ashley had 4,

I was with  Miss Ashley,it was me Auckland,Faka'ata,Lopi,i was the only girl kid in the car that was why i had to sit in the front.When  Miss Ashley was driving she was driving fast like the wind i said to slow down but she said That we were late because of Lopi, he had to change a lot and we had to wait for Fakalata mum to get his togs but it was finally over.


so that was why  Miss Ashley was driving so fast, Miss Ashley was confused where to go she was trying to use her GPS was not working  so she called Mrs Fepuleai but she was not answering her phone, so she called Mrs Kelly BUT she was not answering her phone too.But in 2 minutes Mrs Fepuleai called and tolled her the way.when  Miss Ashley parked the car i saw 2 men and their names were Kevin and Robin the instrader was Robin he showed us how to us the bout.

My buddy was Hiria we went in the water but we had to go by one by one we went 2ed and when we went on there was a rope on out bout and Robin and i bout too he tied it onto his bout and tolk us to a pontoon and  he got the other kids.than when everyone was here he tolk 4 bout it was my bout and he was moving around and then he stopped i yelled ''why did you stop'' and he yelled ''i am going to let you go now and everybody got scared but me and my buddy was doing just fine we went really far than it was raining,i could not see properly.

when we were done robin toled us one person go in the front and that was me and he said to lean over than i did and the bout fleped over and i was really thought that i was go ti drowen but we had i life jakit on so i can swim and everone had a go than we we to change and get dry and had lunch and went back ti school i thought was super super fun.

Tuesday T1W9 Reading activity

this is my work on Tuesday i had to do this for 3 days but it is finally finished.
The video was really interesting it is the first learning video i like to listen too.

WALT working together as a team

On Monday kiwisport got canceled so Miss Ashley and Miss Morison decided that Rm 7 vs Rm 8 at line basketball.

I thought Rm 7 was going to play with just us but Rm8 wanted to play with us so Miss Ashley had an idea it was Rm 7 (the best class) and Rm 8 (the 2ed best)

Will vs each other.

Rm 7 flowed Rm 8 to the court Miss Ashley said get in arder it had to be boy girl boy girl because the boys were talking at each other.

We started playing the game it was my turn and when I went up i was so scared it was like i was standing in front of 2,000 people but it was not really scary when i had the ball.

We finished at 12.27 we won we had 3 points and Rm 8 had 1 we were humble winners and Rm 8 were gracious losers we had lots of fun i hope we do that again.

The story i wrote on Monday

Monday 13th march 2017

Today in room 7 Miss Ashley showed us a box she said ‘’what is this’’ and my whole class yelled it was a box it was made out of recycled coke box she said ‘’no this is not just a box it is my magic box’’ and she told us what to do.

She told us that she was going to chose someone to come up.She is going to blindfold them,after that when she blindfold’s that person the person she is going to put something in the magic box and she chose Syraiah-lee, she got blindfolded and Miss Ashley put mustard in the box.

She was scared like she was going to full of a cliff.When she put her hand in the box she squealed ewww!! and the class was laughing,she could not get what it was so she said ‘’can you just tell me what it is?

After her turn it was finally my turn i went up with coffedents but as soon the blindfold went on my eyes i felt like the world disappeared i was a little scared when everyone yelled wooooooo!! I was frightened because it might be something disgusting i put my shaky hand in the bowl, I put my hand in and i just yelled ‘’ewwwww! What the what is this it felt like jel and cream and the color was white, my hand was hard to move my hand in.Miss Ashley gave me a hint she said ‘’most man use it’’ this was going to be hard so i just gave up and i took the blind off and it was shaving foam.

It was so fun i wish we can do that again but with food only.

Game Review

WALT: I am learning to critically evaluate a game

I played the game: Cranium

I played this game with:Coralee

The purpose of this game is to (Hint: how do you win this game?):well me and Coralee were play and you have to chose a person and there was a play doh but it was dry so it rain and you need a color dise and if you get a color you have to go on it and there is a time and if the time runs out and the person has passed the brain than she/he has to get the brain and say i won.

My favourite thing about this game was:that if you win you get to hold the brain

One thing I didn’t like about this game was:is when you eat the brain

This game is good to play by with a group because there are more people it said you have to have 5 people/4 people,but i just did 2 player.

I would rate this game _5_ out of 10 because:i lost and i got to eat the brain but said to play another game but Coralee said no so i had to eat it but i did not eat it.

If I could recommend something to make this game better, it would be:

whanau confrace

At whanau conference i was the post to come at 3.50 but my brother Micah he brang the time for me from his teacher so we came at that time.We came at 4.00 o’clock  and my mum came to my class and my teacher miss Ashley talked about how i am and she said thing about my learning than when we were done we got a notice and my mum sighed it,the notice is about miss Ashley can take me to a lak and we are going to adomed the creek,she can take me whenever she wants so my mum sighed it and we were done so we went home and watch moana.

Softball Tournament

On wednesday 22ed feb 2017

some of room 10 kids and some of room 8 and 7 and some of room 9 kids we had to go to our softball tournament we had to walk because the softball bus was $500 so we had to walk,it was not that far we went on a fiaud called done coert.

We were vsing Pont England A and we lost but we tried.than we lined up and high fived each other and we were saying good try,than when we were finished we went and ate and we went to paradise our throwing.We won’t aloud to bat because we might hit a window,but i was just waiting for my dad to come.

Than we went up and went to vs Pont England B and we lost again so we went to stone fired and we won it was the greatest feeling ever that we won and at the end of the finose we won again.

We came to the finose and we were vs stone fired again i had a great feeling about this and when we baited i saw my dad coming and he was going to watch me bat and when i baited it it went a little bit far and i ran it the 1st bas and i stand there because they were going to get me than every other people baited and we won again it was amazing but we came 3ed place but it was fun.

In iron there was A earthquake it was so bad i was watching a video it was about the most powerful  earthquake in the world,and there was sumange everyone was so frightened when they saw it.Everything was damaged some people died and some people survivors most of the children were dead i was so sad i imagined if was me,we are so lucky have a earthquake like that.   

celebrating Me!!

This term we have been inquiring into 'Celebrating Me'. We have been looking at lots of different celebrations, like Guy Fawkes, Halloween, Weddings and Birthdays, White Sunday, Diwali and more. We also have looked at celebrating our own selves. 

This means we thought about things about ourselves that are worth celebrating... like our family, our hobbies, our learning achievements, our culture.
